Books on Hold

Every time I think I will be totally devoted to getting another book formatted and finished for publishing, it seems I am pulled towards another passion of mine which is saving honey bees. This love has expanded to stopping the imminent collapse of our entire ecosystem. What I am learning is shocking . To find out [...]

Why I Think Clothianidin and Imidacloprid Should be Banned Immediately

In March I was flown to Toronto to be interviewed about the neonicotinoids that I believe should be banned. Thank God that more people are getting active before we have a collapse of our ecosystem. I believe there is a direct correlation between the widespread and ever increasing use of imidacloprid and clothianidin and the loss of bats and the reduced number of birds that is occurring.  (See Symptoms below)

These pesticides are derived from nicotine, an ancient remedy used to kill bugs. Neonicotinoids are systemic. Once put into or on a seed or plant, imidacloprid and clothianidin  permeate the entire organism from seed to roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, etc. You cannot wash these pesticides off.

Clothianidin is water soluble and extremely mobile in the soil. New York state refused to allow it because it was found in well water miles from where it was being tested on crops. There are those who state clothianidin can be in the soil for 19 years. Yet  the Office of Pesticides and Programs and Review has allowed it to be sold.

Don’t you think that maybe Dr Steven Bradbury who is the Director of the Office of Pesticide Programs and Review has his priorities confused? Surely he has the final responsibility to stop Bayer Crop Science from marketing this poison when the EPA scientists stated more field studies are needed. The EPA has fine dedicated scientists but their work is apparently ignored and the chemical giant Bayer, yes, the same people who make aspirin, is pandered to.

The field studies for clothianidin were done in Canada on canola and these same field studies were what was to determine if clothianidin was appropriate to be used in the USA on corn. Odd that it got a conditional use permit anyway. Makes me ask myself, Did someone high up in the EPA have a vested interest in  Bayer Crop Science? Why was it rushed to market?

Dr. Henk Tennekes has written a stunning book, short and to the point, called “The Systemic Pesticides: A Disaster In The Making,” which uses real data showing the direct correlation between loss of wild birds and the extensive use of imidacloprid. I say buy it and read it. If you are a science teacher in public schools, use it as a reference book. If you are a mother or plan to be a mother, read it and maybe it will shake you up enough that you will become actively involved in banning this poison.

85 %of corn seed is stapled with imidacloprid. 60% of grapes from California are drip feed imidacloprid, yet only8.8% of grapes tested show it present; that means although it has to be there because it is a systemic – it is in such a minute amounts than the normal methods of testing cannot detect it. (See Dr. Henk Tennekes book for confirmation)

Science has proven that imidacloprid is cumulative in the DNA of the invertebrates brain. Once an insect eats pollen, drinks the nectar or even walks on the plant at certain times minute amounts add up and are just as dangerous to an insect ( invertebrate) as a large amount at one time.

SYMPTOMS

  1. Weakened immune system
  2. Destroyed digestive system – looks like cancer in humans as the digestive system is blackened.
  3. Bizarre or disoriented behavior
  4. Loss of memory (Bayer’s claim) yet it has become evident that it interfers with the capability to retrieve facts in the mind and use those facts when appropriate.

Bats are exhibiting the following symptoms:

  1. Such a weakened immune system that they succumb to white nose syndrome. It seems that a bacteria from European caves is present and it is assumed the cause of the syndrome but it is only an assumption at this time, not proven. This does not explain why their immunity is so low.
  2. Their fat resources are used up two months before hibernation is complete.
  3. Bats never leave the cave in the daylight yet they are flying out in the daytime and crashing into snow banks or flying until they drop.
  4. Bats eat 14 times their weight in insects a night. They have been a major contributor of keeping bugs in balance. I know of no studies that have been done to test bats brain responses.

I have been on this research path 4 years. Now I look at all the land in the cities with neatly cut lawns and see environmental chaos. To a bee it is a desert. Use Roundup and you make it a minefield for all invertebrates. What do you think the birds can eat when you are so busy killing off all wild things that flower which feed pollinators and give a place for insects to live?

Please tear up part of your socially acceptable lawn and plant bee friendly perennials or plant a garden to feed both the pollinaotrs and yourself.  Without pollinators our major food crops will be difficult to maintain. Without song birds life will become duller.

Do your part. Leave Roundup on the shelf and if weeds are so repulsive to you, use common salt on them. Salt won’t hurt your children in any way should it be absorbed by their bare feet. Let little bugs run all over your pretty flowers or plant garlic with your rose bush and learn other ways to use biopest control. Stop the imminent collapse of our entire ecosystem.

The Apostle James Ben Alphaeus

James ben Alphaeus, better known in the Bible as James the Lesser, has the most unique story in that his story doesn’t end when he leaves his body but continues on. I decided to use my gifts of reading the Akashic records to find out what he was feeling when he died. I had one of the most awesome spiritual experiences of my life.

Here is what I found out:

James, the new bishop of the first Community in Christ,  had been holding a religious meeting with about 100 people in attendance and there was a ruckus outside. This was already written about in our manuscript. What was not fully explained in her story was what she meant by – the power of God flowing through him. It felt like a river that entered through his head flowed both through him and around him and flowed outward from his feet. His back and sides of his aura became the river bed and the sides of the river bank through which the river of God’s power flowed. This power was unlike anything I can truly describe; it was the ultimate power of creation and I do mean all that the emotions could describe as “Power.” It was the force that could build or do anything and it could be directed by human will. This power could move a mountain or stop a flood or create anything.

When James confronted his attackers, he could have simply turned the force of hatred, animosity and intent to kill back upon the senders and what they each intentioned would happen instantly and spontaeously to them. Yet when one is in this flow of God’s power there is no emotion, only observation, and if one could call it emotion there is a detached intent for the highest good for all.

In the orient there are Chi masters who turn back to the sender their negative energy and a person can rush at a Chi master and literally hit an energy field that will knock him flying backwards, the force of being knocked back being determined by the emotional energy sent out by the person. This was beyond even a what a Chi master does.

So this is one way that my curiosity adds depth to her work. It is not planned as a means to expand her work but it does for she takes for granted as evident what confounds most of us yet when I find how to tell her this she tweaks her words creating such beauty and hope.

I am so honored to be a part of this massive project. When will we get James done for the press? Soon I hope. The second story, Henry VII of England, is just about finished for the editing and then we have one more read through on Abraham Lincoln.

At least the pictures are done for this manuscript. That’s progress. Maps next.

The Gift of Peter – Proof from Printer

The Gift of Peter has returned from the printer. It is so exciting when a book is in your hand to see it. We are doing the last and final edit. It is no longer surprising to us to find little mistakes. You see, when you read a manuscript for content, you focus on the meaning of the words but when you proof read it, you only look for mistakes. Usually we start off with proof reading and then forget and slip into checking the content and that is why we found no less than 15 adjustments needed. Everything from a missing space between two words to a mis-spelled word that was not caught by us or spell-check and one place Mother wants to clarify wording has been found. Once she gets the final final edit done, The Gift of Peter  will be on the market.

Already two people are asking for a copy.

Review of The Gift of Judas by Adrian Frost

Judas Photoshop Picture 002In her title, “The Gift of… Judas” author, G. E. Hansen, betrays her deep insights into the apostle most Christians deem utterly reprehensible. In the 568 page book she both tells of the Judas we know, although in her inimitable way, and portrays him in previous lives as Nimrud, Xerxes and King Philip I of Macedon ( Alexander’s father.) She does this with an extraordinary combination of scholarly research and deft clear writing style that brings these ancient historical periods to vibrant life.

It is both an extraordinary and intense book which paradoxically, calmly and plainly outlines these familiar figures. Above her eurditism and knowledge, it is the compassionate, deeply felt emotion that holds you to the book. It doesn’t give answers you would expect but it may point to the questions we need and I’ll never view Judas the same again.

Editing James Ben Alphaeus

We are editing the next book, The Gift Of…James ben Alphaeus, also called James the lesser, due to his being shorter than James ben Zebedee.  Like every other manuscript, when we start to check it out for typos, spelling and such, we notice missing content that the author knew but didn’t write at the time or we want to expand what is there for clarity. The story of the disciple is so exciting because he was the identical twin to Thomas and thus both were close to Jesus.

The next story, Henry VII, was what we thought needed checking and the copious historical information that I gleaned from the internet has yet to be reviewed to make sure names and dates are accurate. Today the internet gives me access to information that wasn’t translated or wasn’t available outside of a university library on another continent and now is available to the public. What an exciting time to do research!!

His last story of Abraham Lincoln needs no editing as we have gone over that months ago. Remember what is so fabulous about the stories is that the books are written from the protaganist’s point of view. Yes, Abraham was a sad man with a cantankerous wife without whom he would never have become president of the United States.

Anyone have a clear picture of Major Hans Hausamann?

I am seeking a picture of Major Hans Hausamann who was a pivotal force in maintaining the freedom of Switzerland during World War Two. He and two other men established the Bureau Ha which was an espionage bureau to find out what Hiltler was planning. It helped many other countries besides Switzerland. Did you know that in little Switzerland with a population of just 4 million took in over 100,000 refuges, Jews, French soldiers, downed American pilots, and many others for the duration of the war? No other nation matched their generosity.  Switzerland could barely feed herself yet the Swiss shared what they had as best they could.  Amazing history!

The Gift of Peter Proof has arrived!

The proof of “The Gift of Peter” is back from the printer. It is so exciting to have the real book in hand. Just a few more days and the final final edit will be complete. We are so close to publishing, “The Gift of Peter!” Isn’t that fantastic?!!!

Not surprising to us, we have found, so far, 15 small mistakes to be corrected, everything from a space missing between 2 words to a mis-spelled word that neither us nor spell-check found plus one paragraph G.E. Hansen wants to clarify. Why is it not surprising? Well, there is proof reading which is scanning a document for errors and there is reading for content, meaning what is the story line. As editors and author, we easily slip from proof reading to reading the content.

Spirit Crystal

My birthday is July 7th. My sweet husband, John, had helped a friend, Barbara Rose, repair her car. She told him, “I don’t have money to pay you but I have lots of stuff you can pick from. Come over to where I will set up this Friday and pick whatever you want as payment.” This was a huge offer because she had closed her shop, “The Cherokee Store,” and had lots of wonderful merchandise. John was so excited because he could let me pick out my birthday present.

I looked at a gorgeous turquoise necklace which was very flattering on me. It made me appear glamourous and youthful yet it was something I would seldom if ever wear. Barbara Rose was studing me and austutely decided, “I think this is not so much you.” She reached into her cabinet pulling out a necklace I had not noticed.  “This is perfect. It is for you. Try it on. It has a spirit crystal on it. ”

She handed me a silver and amethyst beaded necklace that had a sliver wire wrapped crytal hanging from it. The cystal was no ordinary crystal for it had a tip and then it was totally ringed by hundreds of tiny crystals. The second I put it on wisdom and softness exuded from it.

However John liked the turquoise one better so I put it back on and wore it for 15 minutes. The longer I wore the heavier it got on my neck and the more his smile faded. He said, “I think I have made a mistake. Try the other one now.” I changed necklaces. This time the crystal necklace seemed to melt into my flesh so that we were one being. John radiated joy. The necklace and a pair of gorgeous matching earrings went home with me. Happy Birthday to me!
